Happy Holidays, friends! ‘Tis the season to celebrate family and friends through a variety of unique traditions. Some of us sing holiday songs. Some of us cook incredible feasts. Some of us believe the season doesn’t officially begin until Alan Rickman falls off the top of Fox Plaza in Century City.

Something Awesome with Author & Playwright LaDarrion Williams
This week, I want to introduce you to the incredibly talented LaDarrion Williams. I met LaDarrion years ago through mutual connections within the LA theatre community, and I’ve been a fan of his ever since. Through the tangled web that is social media, I’ve seen him struggle and strive and build a name for himself as an author and playwright, and through pure tenacity and determination, he’s demonstrated that he is someone to watch.
Brandie June contributes two original stories to graphic novel anthology Cthulhu Is Hard To Spell
My friend Brandie is a talented author, playwright, and librettist (and a burgeoning theatre producer). So, when I saw her post that she was doing a signing at Comic Con this weekend, I wasn’t surprised. What caught me off guard was that this signing wasn’t for her YA Fantasy duology, Gold Spun. Instead it was for a project I hadn’t heard about: a trio of graphic novel anthologies titled “Cthulhu is Hard to Spell.”
6 Things You Can Do to Support the WGA Strike
Let me start this off by stating that I am not a member of the WGA. I’m an actor and a member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity, and the Dramatists Guild. I’ve seen a lot of posts about What Actors Should Do During the #WGAstrike. Erica S. Bream and The Casting Directors Cut both put out great guides back in May. And I love them! But there was one thing that bothered me about those guides.

Designing Seussical the Musical at Burbank Center Stages with Conundrum Theatre Company!
While working on Carrie: The Musical Horror last year at Boston Court Pasadena for Sequoyah School, I connected with the President of Conundrum Theatre Company, Lisa Sedares. Lisa and I hit it off pretty quickly, and before I knew it, she’d hired me to design her company’s upcoming production of Seussical the Musical.
